Scott Glazier represents business entities of all sizes ranging from start-up companies and small businesses to multi-million dollar companies doing business on a national and international basis. Mr. Glazier advises and counsels clients on a wide variety of legal matters including formations and incorporations, acquisitions, general corporate and contract matters, financings, asset and stock sales and purchases, employee benefit and incentive plans, federal and state taxation, healthcare law, and real estate matters. Mr. Glazier also advises individuals with business succession, estate planning, and probate law.

Practice Philosophy

The practice philosophy of Mr. Glazier is that of both legal counsel and business adviser. His approach to most legal issues is first to consider the risks and liability to the client, next to evaluate the issue from an economic standpoint and finally to attack the problem or issue from a technical viewpoint. Mr. Glazier's goal is to communicate with clients on clear and understandable terms without attempting to impress the client with "legalese" or obscure legal references.

Education

Mr. Glazier received a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Florida in 1981, and a J.D. from Stetson College of Law in 1985, where he was the Notes Editor for the Stetson Law Review from 1984-1985.

Professional and Community Experience

Mr. Glazier is an active member of the Florida Bar Association and the Small Business Resource Network (Steering Committee Member). He is also currently serving on the Florida Bar's Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee. Mr. Glazier began his legal career as an associate for Brant, Moore, Sapp, MacDonald, and Wells, P.A. in 1985, and became a partner in 1991. He left to form Glazier & Glazier, P.A. with his wife Cynthia in 1999. Mr. Glazier has worked on the committees of numerous charitable events and is a very active member at Deerwood Country Club.

Mr. Glazier holds an AV peer rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating a lawyer may attain.
